Laura’s favorite poem:
Indian Prayer
Oh, Great Spirit hear me, for I am small and weak.
I need your strength to make me wise, to learn the lessons you have taught.
Not to be superior to my brothers and sisters, but to fight my greatest enemy; myself.
Teach me to respect the gifts you have given me, that my spirit will come to you without shame.
I will truly miss you❣️ Your stories, your laugh, your kindness towards all living and breathing, your honesty. I am sorry we didn’t get the chance to get together. You touched so many lives. Laura you are missed by all who knew you. I am lucky to have been able to have your friendship. Something I will miss until we meet again my friend ❤️
My beautiful sister you will always be. I miss your smile, your laugh, and your sense of humor, there will never be another like you. I was there when you were born and was there when the Angels called you home. Rest peacefully my girl your work is done here, love your Bin Bin..
Laura will leave an everlasting mark on those that were blessed to know her. My love and strength are with her entire family. Her work family also loved her very much and wont ever forget her. Rest in paradise sweet Laura. I hope you tell those angels what’s what up there.
Laura you will be truly missed my friend. I am so grateful to have had her in my life . The laughs we shared will ring in my memories and heart . She always seen people for exactly who they were and accepted them for where they were at, not where they may have come from in their past or previous life .A fabulous quality .She literally would give the shirt off her back .She did so much good in her short time in this world .Soar without pain my friend .
Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family and friends. Laura touched many lives in a positive way providing support to many in need in our communities. Your kindness, laughter and raw sense of humor will live on in our hearts. You are already missed!
I’ll will never recover from loosing my entire world, my best friend and my rock. I love you always and forever mum. Taken from me way too soon.
Celebration of Life : Laura’s wishes were to be taken back to Manitoba and be reunited with her son Dayne and mother Florence,
