Rogers, Albert Ernest

ROGERS WOctober 23, 1927 – February 9, 2015
at the age of 87 years

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Albert at the age of 87 after a lengthy battle with Dementia. Albert was predeceased by his parents and 9 siblings, and is survived by his son David Rogers of New Westminster, BC and by his daughter Lynn Rogers of Salmon Arm.
Albert moved to Canada in 1965 from England to make a better life for his family.  He was a baker by trade and was a long time member of BCTW local 468, once retired, he drove to Mexico every winter for many years. He loved the annual fishing trips with the boys to Vancouver Island and also enjoyed a game or two of crib.
We would like to thank Dr. Skubiak and all the people at cottage 4 of Hillside Village for taking such good care of him in his final months.
You will be forever in our hearts, love you Dad.
There will be no service, just raise a glass in his honor.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of BC, Box 277, Station M, Kamloops, BC, V2C 5K6, would be greatly appreciated.
