February 27, 1954 – October 17, 2024
at the age of 70 years:     

It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Catherine Loretta Price (nee Marcellus) on October 17, 2024 at the age 70.  Jean was born February 27, 1954 in Arnprior, Ontario to the parents of Katherine Marcellus (Lamorie) and Francis Marcellus.  Jean was dearly loved by her two children Joel Price of Ottawa and Shalah Price of Enderby and was a loving “Nan” to Tristyn. 

Jean was preceded in joining the Lord by her parents Katherine & Francis and brothers Michael(Bonnie) and Kenny Marcellus (Carol).  She is survived by her children, Joel and Shalah, her brothers Johnny (Norma) and Tony (Joanne), sister Mary Lou (Stephen) Spaull and several nieces and nephews. 

Jean was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family and the working line German Shepherd community. She spent most of her time dedicated to researching bloodlines, following genetics for learning about overall health, temperament and soundness of the breed. Her goal was accomplished and obtained with a strong following and tremendous respect of her own breeding program Wolvesden Kennels. She loved all her dogs and it was her passion.  Anyone who knew her would agree. 

A celebration of life will be held in Ontario at a later date.
