I only met Max a few times over the years but she always made me feel loved as a brother. I think Dad said it best after returning from visiting Lar and Max with Mom – “She’s such a sweet woman who shines her kindness light on all who meet her”. I know how much and how quickly she meshed with Sandy. Sadly a large part of our hearts will never be the same, but then again are hearts wouldn’t have been the same having never met this beautiful woman I was fortunate to call my sister.
