We are deeply saddened by the sudden death of Jodi Ann Holm (nee McConnell), who died early Easter Sunday morning. Jodi was born on January 18, 1964 in Abbotsford, B.C. to Betty and James McConnell. Jodi was the youngest of five children.
Jodi loved the outdoors – camping and boating with family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, and working on the family history, and loved animals – cats, dogs, chickens, etc.
On September 4, 1999, she married Rob Holm and they enjoyed their five acres near Salmon Arm.
Jodi was predeceased by her parents, and by her siblings Donna, Shirley, and Bob. She is survived by her husband Rob Holm, and brother Jim (Buck) McConnell, and nieces & nephews.
A service to honour Jodi’s life will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, May 11, at Sicamous United Church, 705 East Trans Canada Frtg. Rd, Sicamous B.C.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shuswap Community Foundation, S.P.C.A. or another charity that you think would honour Jodi’s life.
Many childhood days spent together in Abbotsford. Playing outdoors on their family property and ours.
As our families were quite close.
Highschool together at Abbotsford Senior Secondary, acrobats.
Many memories swinging on the giant swing at McKinneys together.
You will be sadly missed cousin.
May you rest in peace Jodi
Love
Pam (McConnell) Stamford
Lived next to Jodi for 15 years. Jodi was a very kind, gentle person. Loved the animals and her gardening. Camping, boating, get togethers and yakking over the fence. Never stopped working from sunrise to sunset. Taught my kids that bees were safe. Never an unkind word about anyone. Loyal friend! Going to miss her smile and positive outlook on life.
She was a special person to grow up with, one of ‘us’ and will always be loved, missed, and remembered.
May you rest in peace my friend.
