  1. For me one of the highest praises is to say, “He was a good man.” Indeed Wayne is worthy of such.

  2. I am so saddened to hear of Wayne’s passing. I loved running into him at Walmart, he always went out of his way to say hi to my boys and I every single time we went to the store. You will be greatly missed ❤️

  3. You were such a kind soul. Always smiling and greeting people with a hug. You were always the first person I wanted and hoped to see at Walmart. You will be missed my dear friend. Love you. ❤

  5. I very much miss seeing Wayne at work. I’d always try and go visit with him when I’d have a break and he was always so happy and genuinely kind. My condolences to his family and friends. He had such a big heart and is truly missed

  6. Oh Wayne, I’m sorry I didn’t know sooner, and didn’t say goodbye. My heart goes out to your family and everyone you touched with your easy smile and sense of humour.
I will miss your kindness, your hugs and how much you loved to visit with my daughter when we’d see you. We will miss our “Mr. Wayne” <3

  7. See you at the hockey game in heaven buddy. RIP my friend

  8. I met Wayne at Walmart as I would go shopping. He was always a wonderful face I would looked forward to seeing. He always had a smile for me and a sneaky loonie for my forgetful self. He was always kind and would chuckle as I gathered my four kids through the door. He would lead with a comment like oh your hands are full and would finish with telling me I was doing a good job. He will be very missed.

  9. Wayne’s smiles and handshakes will not be forgotten. I always admired how much he loved and praised Elsie. Condolences to the family.

  13. Wayne,

I always looked forward to when we would bump into each other. Ever since I was young we always had great chats. I will never forget listening to your stories when we worked the poppy tables together when I was a young cadet. Your smile was always so infectious and you always greeted me with a warm hug and “how are you trouble.” Keep shining down on everyone from above.

  16. Such a sweet gentle heart. Will miss seeing you come into the store but also miss our little chit chats when I seen you greeting everyone at work. You will surely be miss but never forgotten. RIP wayne.

  17. So unexpected, buddy. We stood side-by-side to honor others. Missing you
    everyday.

  18. What a gentle, welcoming and encouraging man Wayne was!

  19. To Wayne, family, and close friends. Wayne was one of those rare people that lit up one’s day every time we saw him. There was always the nice chat on how things were going. He often shared his concern for his son that was ill, and always put a smile in our day just by being with him even if just for a few minutes as we were coming and going. He would often speak of his lovely lady friend and his life in general. Over time with his back issues and Ocular issues, we could see that he was deteriorating, but even with that always that smile and his wonderful conversation rose through it all. For the past few years getting to know him at his station in Wal-Mart always made our day and observing others that engaged him demonstrated his effect radiated to many more people, customers and co workers included. We even prayed with him for his son on one occasion, which was for us a very moving moment. We will cherish the memories of our short times together and the love he generated for one and for all. Wayne you were one of those rare people that touched a lot of people, we wish you a well deserved rest, and to his family, our deepest Condolences. God bless

  22. It is with great sadness to lose such a warm and truly wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with all if you in this very sad time. I send out big hugs to you. I’ve worked with Wayne for 11 years and I will forever miss our conversing and kidding around.
