❤️
For 17 years, Elizabeth was part of our everyday life. Mother In Law, Grandmother, Prayer Partner. She was one of the most humble, kind and caring people in my entire life.

It’s been awhile now since God took Aunt Liz home but I continue to have memories of Uncle Irvin and Aunt Liz. When I was knee high to a grasshopper I remember Uncles Irvin and Harry jumping out of their 2nd story bedroom window and hiding from us. And them teaching us how to snare gophers. Then in the 50’s Irvin and Liz started their family in Herbert and it was always fun to visit them and Uncle Irvin inspired us during several Brigade Boys’ outings. When the moved to Salmon Arm it was a thrill to visit them and Aunt Liz fascinated me with her friendliness and cooking while Uncle Irvin continued showing me new tricks of living off the land which always thrilled me. As they moved to their ponderosa south of Salmon Arm Aunt Luz always gave us a warm welcome and their family always entertained us with their musical abilities. Aunt Liz always was a stabilizer in my life as was Uncle Irvin. I appreciated them both so very much for the positive influence they and their family have been in my life

My Sincere Sympathy to the Family. Mrs. Gerbrandt always let me ride my horse down ‘gerbrandt trail’ as a child, in the 60’s.
Fond Memories Forever

My condolences to Elizabeth’s family. Elizabeth and husband Ivan are entwined in my memories of growing up in Salmon Arm during the 1960s. So long as I live, their lights will shine on. Farewell, Elizabeth. I know you are Resting in Peace.
