Sincere condolences to Judy and the entire family. Doug was the kindest, generous, loving man that we had the pleasure of knowing for many years. He had a great sense of humour, played a mean game of crib, and would always be there to help anyone in need. His heart was huge and he was a great story-teller.
He loved his family dearly and loved to share many stories of their lives. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him and wished they had known him.
Doug was always laughing, joking and grinning. He will be missed by many. I pray he and my Dad, Gordon, have found eachother and are laughing together.
Hello to aunty Judy and the rest of Uncle Doug’s family!
Thank you for all that you have done to make uncle Doug’s life possible!
I have to say that we were inspired by this wonderful man. When I say we I mean us kids. I knew Al and Darcy as young boys and they have grown to be wonderful men! I had so many good experiences at his place in Ft St John as we would go for the different roasts he had in his yard and play guitar’s and sing. I love the fact about uncle Doug that his faith in God was very strong. I know none of us are perfect by any means and I know uncle Doug said that to me, yet he strived to love the lord and now he is resting waiting for his reward . I was so glad to of had a privilege to be apart of his life and we will miss him. It was an honour to have spent time in his presence. Thank you for a wonderful experience and RIP
love you and will not forget you.
Love Brett Roy
Ps god willing I will see you at the farm for his service!
