I knew Leona as a volunteer who shared by helping some of my students with their math. She also often shared by bringing flowers from her garden to grace the Gathering Room at the college. I was sad to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I met Leona at Feldenkrais class. She was kind and friendly. Leona was a determined person and came out to class even when she wasn’t feeling great. Her enthusiasm was always there. I have missed her during CoVid and now she is gone. Deepest sympathy to her loved ones.

“Very well then , carry on” . That is what she would say so we must do that. We are going to really miss her . Leona had a wonderful way with words and her stories of even the most average daily activities would leave you with a smile. Her quirky, fun loving way was always appreciated . The beautiful flowers from her garden were an absolute delight. We were very happy to have known her and hope that she is now 100 percent from here to eternity wherever her sprit resides. Condolences to her family and friends.
