At the age of 85, Amie passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital on January 31,2025. Born at home in northern Manitoba on November 6,1939, Amie was the third child born to Bert and Tina Eisner.
When she was 6 years old, the family moved to Salmon Arm, where she went to school and later entered her working life as a waitress. A job she took a lot of pride in.
Amie was an eccentric, creative, bold person that lived her life her way. Her life statement was “ I useta”

I useta drive a Cadillac
I useta smoke.
Aime and I lived in the same complex and used to hang out with each other and she would come for dinners and get together’s at my suite. Later, when she moved to her last suite, I went to see her every month and we would have drinks and have great conversations and laugh. I cannot tell you how much I will miss you, my friend. My condolences to her family and other friends. You were one of a kind and that is what I loved about you. Sleep with the Angels.
