Winnie was a little woman with a huge heart and an adventurous spirit. She will be sadly missed by all that she touched. Rest in peace Mom.

William (Bill) Lynch, age 85 of Salmon Arm, BC passed away peacefully Friday, March 7, 2025 at Kelowna General Hospital. He was born October 22, 1939 in Kamloops, BC, to the late William and Marjorie Lynch.
Bill loved being outdoors, whether it was tending to his garden or just enjoying nature. Bill had a green thumb and could make the most beautiful flowers and the lushest gardens grow. Bill grew up in Kamloops and then Canoe. He opened up Bill’s Sport Shop in Canoe and it was the favorite place for all the kids to hang out. Bill was very involved with the Fall Fair for many years, serving in many roles.
His passion was in beekeeping and he was a part of the Beekeepers Club in Salmon Arm. He was happy teaching the young people about beekeeping. During his retirement he had a tragic house fire and lost everything. He moved into a amazing home in town called Lander’s Lodge. That was Bill’s “Happy Place.” “Big Bad Bill” as he was known in Lander’s will be missed by many there.
A big thank you to Lesley and crew from Lander’s for taking care of him.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Marjorie Lynch, sister Nancy Douglas, nephew John Douglas and best friend Allan Wright.
He is survived by his brother Laird Lynch(Val), nephew Tim Douglas(Leslie) and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be conducted at a later time.
