October 14, 1953 – November 3, 2024
at the age of 71 years:
It is with sadness that the family of Collin Pringle, of Salmon Arm, BC (formerly of Edmonton and Stony Plain, AB), announce his passing November 3rd, 2024, at the age of 71, after battling cancer.
Collin will be lovingly remembered by his wife Clarisse, his children Ian and Kerri (Dan), his beloved grandchildren Matthew and Sarah, as well as the many friends made over the years.
Collin was predeceased by his first wife Ladonna and his parents, Agnes and Bill Pringle.
Collin grew up in Edmonton and served as a proud member of the Edmonton Police Service for 25 years. Collin loved cooking, camping, quadding, motorcycles, shooting, hunting, golfing, and winters spent in Arizona, where friends and good times were made. The grandkids enjoyed many sleepovers and adventures with Collin and Clarisse, and especially cherished their homemade pancake breakfasts and movie nights. Ian and Kerri have many fond memories of family vacations, old movies watched together, camping, driving lessons, and advice about life – from how to make Yorkshire pudding to how to get out of a speeding ticket! This husband, father, grandfather, and friend will be greatly missed and his impact on our lives will not be forgotten.
As per his wishes, there will not be a funeral or service, but any donations to The Canadian Cancer Society in his memory would be appreciated.
Ron and I loved the time we spent with Colin and Clarisse in Yuma, Arizona. We will miss him, but will never forget his quick wit and sense of humor. RIP my friend.
So sad to hear of Collin’s passing. Our condolences to all. I have many memories of Collin in his side by side out in the dessert in Yuma. Also our happy hours and golfing. I will miss you buddy
