It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend and wife (Grace) Lorraine Henderson nee Dyer after a brief battle with cancer.  Lorraine passed away peacefully on September 9, 2024, with loved ones beside her.

Lorraine is survived by her husband Les, her fur babies Holly and Desi, brothers Wayne (Barbara) and Roger (Anne) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Lorraine was born on September 17, 1954, to Perce and Grace Dyer in Peterborough, Ontario, she was the youngest of three children.

When Lorraine was 17 years old, she moved to BC.  Lorriane’s spent the majority of her working life as a care aid at Florence Nightingale Care Home in Surrey BC, where she worked until she retired.

Lorraine met her husband Les in 1975, and they were married on September 12, 1980. Lorraine and Les travelled all over Canada and the United States in the truck and camper.

In 1992 they found their little piece of heaven, Seymour Arm.  In 1999 they broke ground and started to build their dream home, their little cabin in the woods, and   Seymour Arm became their home.

Lorraine was a pillar in her community and shared her wonderful smile and sense of humor, her every changing hair colours and sparkling nails.

Lorraine will be greatly missed by all her family, fur babies and friends.
